Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Announces May Promotions And Entertainment

PITTSBURGH — April 30, 2019 — Move into May with new gaming promotions at Rivers Casino. Enter for the chance to win a 10-ounce gold bar in the River’s Roll for Gold Drawings, and a 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC 300.

Entertainment and Gaming Promotions 

2019 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 Drawing — On Sunday, May 5, guests who’ve earned 25 points on their Rush Rewards Player’s Club Card will be eligible for the drawings at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. for a chance to win $250 in Free Slot Play. At the finale drawing, 10 qualifying guests will have the chance to win $1,000 in Free Slot Play or a 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC 300. 

May Monthly Birthday Drawing — On Thursday, May 9, Rush Rewards Members with a birthday in May are eligible for the monthly birthday drawings at 6, 7 and 8 p.m., for a chance to win $150 in Free Slot Play and an entry into the finale drawing. At the finale drawing, 10 qualifying guests have the chance to win $1,000 cash or $250 in Free Slot Play. 

Over $40,000 Mad Money Mania Drawings — Throughout the month of May, guests who earn 25 points on their Rush Rewards Player’s Club Card will be eligible for the drawings on Thursday, May 30, at 2:15 and 7:15 p.m. At each drawing, qualifying guests have the chance to win a minimum prize of $250 Free Slot Play, as well as a grand prize of $10,000 cash.

River’s Roll for Gold Drawings and Finale — Members who earn 25 points on their Rush Rewards Player’s Club Cards from March 1 through May 4 will be eligible for the wild card drawings at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on May 4. At each finale drawing, at 4 and 8 p.m., 20 qualifiers will be selected to determine their prize with a Top Prize of a 10 ounce gold bar.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests who have won a taxable jackpot on a slot machine from April 24 through May 29 will receive an entry for the $10,000 Jackpot Drawing on Wednesday, May 29, at 6 and 8 p.m. At each drawing, 10 guests will be selected to win their share of $5,000 in Free Slot Play.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, May 14, from 4-7 p.m. Players who earn 100 same-day points on their Rush Rewards Player’s Club Card and the top 50 scores will win $100 Free Slot Play with $500 in Free Slot Play awarded to first place.

New Member — During the month of May, any guest who signs up for a Rush Rewards Player’s Club Card will receive an exclusive New Member offer. All members who earn 250 same-day points can swipe their card at a kiosk and have a choice of $10 Free Slot Play, $20 Match Play, or a free buffet.

$10 for $10 Athletic Trauma Unit Free Slot or Match Play — On Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4, from noon to 8 p.m., all Rush Rewards Members who donate $10 cash to the Athletic Trauma Unit will receive $10 Free Slot or Match Play.

Table Games

Party Pit — On Thursdays in May, guests can win prizes in hot seat drawings every 30 minutes, starting at 6 p.m. and ending at 2 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps and blackjack. Guests can also earn entries for a chance to win a set of Pittsburgh hometown professional sports tickets. The ticket drawing will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 9 p.m.

Mini-Baccarat Tournaments — Each Monday in May, Rivers will host a $50 buy-in Mini-Baccarat Tournament. Guests can buy in to both qualifying rounds from 7 to 9 p.m., with the tournament starting at 8 p.m. One winner at 9 p.m. will receive $5,000 cash and one winner will receive $25,000 cash.

Table Games Lucky 21 High Limit Drawings — Throughout the month of May, Rush Rewards Members playing blackjack in the High Limit Table Games room with any suited blackjack will receive one qualifying entry into the table games drawings on Saturday, May 25, at 9 and 11 p.m. At each drawing, one guest will have the chance to win $5,000 or $25,000 in cash.

Poker

May High Hands — Each day in May, players with a high hand will be called to have their hand displayed in the poker room and announced to all players during the qualifying periods. The player who has the highest hand during the qualifying periods will win cash.

May Derby Dash for Cash — On Saturday, May 4, guests playing in a live qualifying cash table are eligible to be selected for the hot seat drawings. The drawings will begin at 8 a.m. and occur every half hour until 5:30 p.m. Players will be randomly selected to be paired with a horse in the Kentucky Derby. All players selected to be paired with a horse will receive $100 cash and a chance to win the top prize of $500 cash for the first place winner.

May Cash for the Stakes — On Saturday, May 18, guests playing in a live qualifying cash table are eligible to be selected for the Hot Seat Drawings. The drawings will begin at 8 a.m. and occur every half hour until 5:30 p.m. Players will be randomly selected to be paired with a horse in the Preakness Stakes. All players selected to be paired with a horse will receive $100 cash and a chance to win the top prize of $500 cash for the first place winner.
