RIVERS CASINO PITTSBURGH ANNOUNCES "MARCH MANIA" VIEWING PARTIES AND OTHER MARCH PROMOTIONS

PITTSBURGH — March 2, 2021 — It’s that time of year again—March Mania is back! Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has all the action—March Mania viewing parties for opening weekend of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, new food and beverage menus, live DJs, and more.

March Mania

Throughout the duration of the men’s college basketball tournament, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will host reserved-seating viewing parties in both BetRivers Sportsbook and The Event Center. Reserved seats are available in BetRivers Sportsbook from March 19 through March 22, March 27, March 28, April 3, and April 5. Reserved seats are available in the Event Center March 19 and March 20. Doors to each viewing area will open at 11 a.m. with games beginning at noon.

• BetRivers Sportsbook Seating — Guests interested in purchasing a reserved seat for BetRivers Sportsbook will have the option of booths, lounge chairs or table seating. Pricing starts at $25 for single seats and goes up to $600 for a booth that seats up to six. The BetRivers Sportsbook writer windows will open at 10 a.m. and will close at the conclusion of the last game. BetRivers betting kiosks are open 24/7.
• The Event Center Seating — Reserved seats in The Event Center range from tables of two, four and 10 and are $25 per seat. Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase.

Food & Beverage Updates

Indoor dining at all Rivers restaurants is currently at 50% capacity, per the Allegheny County Health Department and the Commonwealth. At each restaurant, alcohol is available with meals only and service ends at 11 p.m. There is no alcohol service on the casino floor. Outdoor covered seating has been relocated to the Rideshare/Bus Lobby area for takeout meals. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking.

Martorano’s Prime — Martorano’s Prime, the casino’s new high-end, Italian-American steakhouse concept, features elevated Italian-American cuisine, prime cuts of beef and other deluxe steakhouse staples. Among many culinary accolades, Gourmet magazine called Martorano’s meatballs the best in the world. Martorano’s Prime is open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m.

Wheelhouse Bar & Grill — Wheelhouse Bar & Grill is the spot to catch any televised game and is now offering new menu items. Among the featured selections are the Beef & Beer Cheese Hoagie, Ham Bar-B-Que Pretzel Roll, Open Faced Roast Beef Sandwich, and Cajun Bleu Burger. Wheelhouse hours are Monday through Thursday from 4-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and noon to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Ciao Special — Beginning on March 2, every Monday through Wednesday from noon to 7 p.m., Ciao will be offering $1.50 shrimp cocktail exclusively to Rush Rewards Card holders. Guests who do not have a players club card are able to purchase shrimp cocktail for $4 apiece, with a limit of two cups per guest.

Casino Updates/Gaming Promotions

Valet — Valet parking is now open and is available 24 hours a day. Additionally, the smoking area has been relocated to the Rideshare/Bus Lobby area.

New Members — During the month of March, any guest who signs up for a Rush Rewards Player’s Club Card will receive an exclusive new member offer. All new members will receive $5 in Free Slot Play and a chance to win $250 in rewards—$150 gift card to Martorano’s Prime, $50 gift shop voucher, and $50 Free Slot Play or Match Play. Once the member is signed up, they must swipe at a promotional kiosk to receive their Free Slot Play and receive their entry into the New Member Drawing.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests who win a taxable jackpot on a slot machine from 7:51 p.m. on Feb. 24 through 7:50 p.m. on March 31 will receive an entry for the $10,000 Jackpot Drawings on Wednesday, March 31, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. At each drawing, 10 guests will be selected to win a share of $5,000 in Free Slot Play.

$30,000 High Limit Jackpot Drawing — Guests who win a taxable jackpot in the high limit slots area from 8:20 p.m. on Feb. 27 through 8:20 p.m. on March 27 will receive an entry for the $30,000 High Limit Jackpot Drawing on Saturday, March 27 at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. At each drawing, 10 guests will be selected to win a share of $15,000 in Free Slot Play.

Poker

The Rivers Poker Room is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 4 a.m., and Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m.

March High Hands — Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will be running a high-hand promotion offered daily in March. Players at a live qualifying cash table are eligible to have the high hand. The player who has the highest hand during the qualifying periods will win cash.

Bad Beat and Rolling Royal Jackpots — Eligible No Limit Texas Hold'em games will contribute to the Progressive Jackpots. There will be a Main and Mini Bad Beat Jackpot. To qualify for the Main, four tens or better must be beaten. To qualify for the Mini, aces full of kings or better must be beaten. Players must use both cards in their hand to win a share of the posted jackpot amount.
