Gaming Promotions

$50K Rock, Paper, Scissors – On Thursday, May 26, 10 winners will be drawn every other hour from 2—10 p.m. to compete in a rock, paper, scissors challenge for a chance to win cash or Free Slot Play. The top prize is $10,000 cash.

It MAY Be Your Lucky Day – Rush Rewards members can earn points to receive entries throughout May for a chance to win their share of cash and Free Slot Play, including the top prizes of $10,000 and $20,000. Winners will be drawn at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on May 31, guests must activate their entries between noon—1:59 p.m. for the 2 p.m. drawing and 6—7:59 p.m. for the 8 p.m. drawing. Earn five times the number of entries on May 5 (Cinco De Mayo), May 8 (Mother’s Day), May 21 (Armed Forces Day) and May 30 (Memorial Day).

Queen of Hearts Drawings – On Saturdays in May, Rush Rewards Players Club Members who “Get the Queen, Get the Green.” For every 500 same-day base points earned each Saturday, guests will earn one entry for a chance to win cash and Free Slot Play. Entries earned each Saturday are only valid for that week’s drawing. One winner will pull a playing card looking for the Queen of Hearts and the drawing will take place at 9 p.m. Entries must be activated between 7—8:59 p.m. The grand prize each week is $10,000 cash, with $10,000 cash being added to the progressive jackpot each week the Queen of Hearts is not drawn. Since the start of the promotion in February, $150,000 cash has been added to the progressive jackpot.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout May, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a faux fur pillow set on Thursday, May 5; a satin bathrobe on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8; and a Black & Decker 3-piece garden hose nozzle set on Thursday, May 19. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last.)

Pick a Gift Giveaway – On Thursday, May 12, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to receive a free gift. May Birthday Celebrations – Happy Birthday to you! Any guest who visits the Rush Rewards Players Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.

New Member Giveaways – New members who sign up for a Rush Rewards Players Club Card and earn 250 same-day base points on the day they sign up will be eligible to swipe to win various amounts of Free Slot Play, Match Play, food vouchers, or gifts. The top prize is $100 in Free Slot Play every week for an entire year.

$10 for $10 – On May 3 and 4, guests who visit Rivers between noon and 8 p.m. have the option to donate $10 cash to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to receive $10 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Proud – All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Pittsburgh Proud donation box is located between the two elevators that lead to the parking garage.

Table Games

$1 Million Craps – Rush Rewards members playing craps have the chance to win $100,000 or even $1 million cash! If a guest is able to roll the dice 100 consecutive times, they’ll take home $100,000 cash. Roll 155 consecutive times and win the $1 million grand prize!

Blazing 777 Blackjack – The more sevens in your hand, the more you win! Blackjack players can take part in a progressive side bet that wins based on how many sevens the player receive in their hand. Any lucky seven is a winner and the progressive is based on the player’s first three seven cards only.

Three Card Poker Tournament – Guests can earn entries for the Three Card Poker Tournament at Rivers Casino on Saturday, May 14. Players receive a complimentary entry for winning a Mini-Royal progressive jackpot on Three Card Poker, or a Royal Flush or Straight Flush progressive jackpot on Let It Ride Poker, Four Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker or Mississippi Stud Poker. Players will receive an entry ticket for a drawing to be held on Saturday, May 7 when they have a Three of a Kind or better on Three Card Poker, Let It Ride Poker, Four Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker or Mississippi Stud Poker and Pai Gow Poker (High Hand.) Players in the May 14 tournament will compete for their share of at least $10,000 cash. Registration starts at 11 a.m. the day of the tournament and play begins at noon.

Learn to Play – Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play Craps, Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 match play coupons. (Match play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2016.)

Baseball Party Pit – On Thursdays in May from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. Throughout May, Rush Rewards members who receive a suited Blackjack, make two passes at Craps or hit a straight up wager paying 35-1 on Roulette will receive an entry to win two tickets to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play at home. The drawing will take place at 9 p.m. on May 26. Entries must be submitted from 6—8:59 p.m. on the date of the drawing.

Poker Room

$19K High Hand – On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in May, players participating at live, qualifying cash tables with the highest hand (full house or higher) will win $300 cash. Qualifying periods begin at 10 a.m. with the first payout taking place at noon. Payouts will continue every other hour until 8 p.m.

$11K Cash Splash – Every Tuesday and Thursday in May, Rush Rewards members playing at live, qualifying cash tables are eligible to win $100 cash. Cash splash pots take place each hour from noon until midnight.

$8K Derby Cash Dash – Guests playing in the Poker Room on Saturday, May 7 will have a chance to win up to $3,000 cash at 5 p.m. Hot seat winners will be paired with a horse in the big race. The player paired with the winning horse will take home the $3,000 grand prize, with second place winning $2,000, third placed winning $1,000, and all hot seat winners taking home $100 cash.

$8K Preakness Stakes – Guests playing in the Poker Room on Saturday, May 21 will have a chance to win up to $3,000 cash at 5 p.m. Hot seat winners will be paired with a horse in the Preakness Stakes. The player paired with the winning horse will take home the $3,000 grand prize, with second place winning $2,500, third placed winning $1,100, and all hot seat winners taking home $100 cash.

Dining and Entertainment

Live from the River Kickoff – Rivers Casino’s annual free, live, outdoor concert series is back this May with Pittsburgh’s local favorites and tribute artists performing in the outdoor amphitheater along the riverfront. The first concerts of the summer season will take place May 27, 28 and 29. Guests of all ages are welcome. Shows start at 7 p.m. (Access to the parking garage and casino building will remain limited to guests ages 21 and up.)
