Welcome a Festive Fall This Month at Rivers

PITTSBURGH — August 29, 2014 — Temperatures are cooling off this month and it’s the perfect time to come indoors and celebrate the change in seasons. Rivers is ready to embrace the fall harvest all month long with gaming promotions, food and beverage specials, and live entertainment.

Gaming Promotions

$100,000 Reel Big Slot Tournament – On Saturday, Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 12 —8 p.m., all Rush Rewards members who earn 250 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. are eligible to participate. The top 100 scores will win cash and a seat in the grand finale. Wildcard drawings will occur every hour from 1—8 p.m. and 10 winners will win an automatic seat into the grand finale. The grand finale drawing will take place on Sept. 27, with a top prize of $20,000 cash.

New Rivers Casino Mobile Application – Guests can now experience Rivers with the touch of a button. The new mobile application enables guests to get directions, make restaurant reservations, and learn about daily specials and promotions. Guests who download the application will receive $5 Free Slot Play. (Visit Rush Rewards Players Club for complete details.)

September Birthday Bash – Rush Rewards members can visit the Players Club on your date of birth to receive a free dinner at Grand View Buffet. Additionally, throughout your birthday month, guests can take one free spin at Rivers’ kiosk game for the chance to win Free Slot Play for one year. Other prizes include various amounts of Free Slot Play and Rivers’ souvenirs.

Learn to Play – Next to Levels Bar, join in from 1—2 p.m., Monday through Friday and 7—8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Guests can learn to play Craps, 3-Card Poker and Mississippi Stud.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing – Rush Rewards players who reach a taxable jackpot ($1,200 or greater) in September will receive an entry into the drawing. Guests will drop an entry card into a drum in the high limits slot area. Ten guests will be called and will split $10,000 Free Slot Play evenly. The drawing will take place on Sept. 30 at 8 p.m.

Wild & Crazy Cash Drawing – Guests who earned entries from August 1-31 have the chance to go home with up to $24,000 cash during the final Wild & Crazy Cash drawing on Sept. 24. Entries must be activated by 7:14 p.m. Three winners have a chance at $500 during the early bird drawings at 1, 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3 and 3:30 p.m. Six winning names will be randomly selected at 7:15 p.m. The winners will be asked to select a numbered case on the promotional stage with a mystery cash prize inside each case. Prizes include:

  • First Place: $24,000
  • Second Place: $7,000
  • Third Place: $3,000
  • Fourth Place: $2,000
  • Fifth Place: $1,000
  • Wild Card: $500 Free Slot Play

$5,000 Early Bird Slot Tournament – On Mondays in September, from 10 a.m.—2 p.m., Rush Rewards members who earn 100 same-day base points beginning at 6 a.m., can participate in the slot tournament. The top 20 scores will win a share of more than $5,000 Free Slot Play.

$25 Buy-In Craps Tournament – On Mondays in September from 6—11 p.m., guests can buy into a craps tournament. Players receive $25 match play, total buy-in monies awarded and $25,000 in buy-in chips. A $1,000 prize pool is guaranteed and registration begins at 5 p.m. next to Levels.

Wacky Wednesday – On Wednesday Sept. 3, 10 and 17 from 12 p.m.—10 p.m., Rush Rewards members can win a share of $10,500 cash. Any guest actively playing with a Rush Rewards card can win up to $500 every half hour. Wednesdays will also be point multiplier day with 15X points from 12—10:59 a.m, 12X points from 11 a.m.—3:59 p.m., and 10X points from 4—11:59 p.m. (Must have valid ID.)

Earn and Get Cash – On Sunday, Sept. 14, from 6 a.m.—11:59 p.m., Rush Rewards members have the ability to earn points and win cash.

Gift Giveaway – On Thursday, Sept. 18 and 25 and Sunday, Sept. 7 and 28, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive an electric skillet on Sept. 7, a Black and Decker® blender on Sept. 18, VIVITAR® binoculars on Sept. 25 and a stainless steel cooking gift set on Sept. 28. (All gifts are available while supplies last from 10 a.m.—8 p.m.)

New Member Promotion – New Rush Rewards members who earn 100 base points in one day are eligible to play the New Member Kiosk game. Prizes may include $5,000 cash, Free Slot Play or food credit.

Dining and Entertainment

2 for $25 Tuesdays at Wheelhouse – Start your week off right! Every Tuesday this month at Wheelhouse, enjoy two entrées plus one appetizer and one dessert to share for $25.

Andrew’s 2 for $75 – On Wednesdays in September dine at Andrew’s for a special menu. Guests will enjoy two entrees, an appetizer and dessert for $75.

Sole Survivor – On Sept. 27 and 28, at 2 and 7 p.m., experience a game show spectacular! All guests will receive an entry to participate in the game show onstage and select guests will have a chance to win Free Slot Play or cash prizes. Tickets are $15, plus tax, and can be purchased at http://riverscasino.showclix.com or in the Rivers gift shop.

Learn to Dance – On Sept. 14 at 6 p.m., join the fun in the banquet space for food and dancing! Spend the evening learning to dance with Arthur Murray Dance Centers of Pittsburgh. Tickets are $55 each and available at http://riverscasino.showclix.com and in the Rivers gift shop.

Live on the River Free Summer Concerts – Rivers’ free, outdoor concert series wraps up this month. The final concert of the season will take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 in Rivers’ amphitheater and will feature Shining Star, an Earth, Wind and Fire tribute.
