PITTSBURGH — Sept. 28, 2018 — Embrace the change of season this October with new events and promotions at the North Shore’s premier destination. Celebrate National Pierogi Day on Oct. 8 with samplings and live music and enter for the chance to win $100,000 cash in the Touchdown Showdown drawing.

Gaming Promotions

Penguins Shoot for $1 Million — Penguins fans who attend a home game can redeem their ticket at the Players Club for a chance to qualify for a shot to win $1 million in April 2019. Guests with a Pens ticket can play a kiosk game for a chance to qualify for the finale drawing on Saturday, April 13, to win $1 million among other great prizes.

$100K Touchdown Showdown Drawing — Earning for the drawings began Sept. 1 with every 25 points equaling one entry. On Saturday, Oct. 6, 13 and 20, qualifying drawings will be held at 2 and 8 p.m. Fifteen winners will be called for their chance to advance to the finale drawing. The finale drawing will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Over $50,000 Mad Money Mania Drawings — On Thursday, Oct. 18, at 2:15 and 7:15 p.m., 20 guests who earned entries beginning on May 1 will be called to place their drawing entry into a drum to be awarded a cash prize. The last remaining name will win the top prize of $15,000 cash.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 4-7 p.m. Players who score in the top 50 will win $100 Free Slot Play with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to first place.

Earn and Get — All Rush Rewards Players Club Members playing a slot machine on Tuesday, Oct. 30, between 8 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., will receive $10 Free Slot Play for every 1,250 slot points earned. Free Slot Play will be available on guests’ cards if they earn points in the time frame listed above. Guests must use Free Slot Play on the date of issuance.

$40,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests will earn one entry for every taxable jackpot won on a slot machine from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31. At 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 10 jackpot winners will be announced to win their share of $5,000 Free Slot Play at each drawing. For the Bonus High Limit Jackpot Drawings at 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 10 jackpot winners will be announced to win their share of $15,000 Free Slot Play at each drawing. Guests must win a taxable jackpot in High Limit Slots to receive an entry for the High Limit Jackpot Drawing.

New Member — During the month of October, any guest who signs up for a Rush Rewards Players Club Card and earns 250 same day points, can swipe at a kiosk for prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000 in Free Slot Play.

Susan G. Komen $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 6, from noon to 8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to Susan G. Komen and receive $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play. The donation table is located in front of Cíao.

Table Games

Fall Into Cash Drawings — Beginning on Sept. 29, all Rush Rewards Players Club Members can earn entries in October into the weekly drawing while playing select table games. Drawings will occur on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. where 5 winners will be selected to spin a wheel to win a prize ranging from $100 to $2,000 cash.

Party Pit — On Thursdays in October, guests will have the chance to win prizes in hot seat drawings every 30 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps and blackjack. Guests can also earn entries for a chance to win a set of Pittsburgh hometown professional sports tickets. The drawing for the tickets will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 9 p.m.

Poker

Full House Ladder Promotion — On Sunday, Oct. 7 and 14, and Tuesday, Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 30, guests will have the chance to win cash at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Poker Room. Hit a qualifying full house and win your share of $16,800 cash.

October High Hands — Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table on Thursday, Oct. 4 and 11, Friday, Oct. 5 and 12, and Saturday, Oct. 1, 8 and 15, are eligible to win $300 or $500 in cash prizes every hour from 7 a.m. to 6 a.m. The total maximum payout is $53,200 cash.

Hand of the Hour Promotions — On Monday, Oct. 1, 8 and 15, and Wednesday, Oct. 3, 10 and 31, guests who have a qualifying hand of aces will have an opportunity to win their share of $6,400 cash.

The Ultimate Cooler – Hand of the Hour — Guests playing in a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win the Ultimate Cooler Promotion! The payout starts at $10,000 cash and increases $10,000 every week the prize is not won. The promotion runs from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 24 hours a day.

World Poker Tournament Deep Stacks — Guests playing in a live qualifying cash table are eligible to participate in The World Poker Tournament from Wednesday, Oct. 17 through Monday, Oct. 29, and more than $400,000 in total guarantees. The Main Event will occur from Friday, Oct. 26, to Monday, Oct. 29, with a $300,000 guarantee.

The event will be held in the Rivers Casino second-level banquet space. Guests will receive $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play. There will also be a costume contest with various cash and Free Slot Play prizes.

National Pierogi Day — On Monday, Oct. 8, from 6-8 p.m., guests can enjoy live music from The Dick Tady Orchestra, pierogi samplings and an appearance by the Pittsburgh Pirate Pierogi in Levels Lounge.
