All-New Events and Promotions Mean More Chances to Win at Pittsburgh’s Casino this Month

PITTSBURGH — Oct. 31, 2016 — Rivers Casino gears up for the holiday season this November with all-new gaming, dining and special events.

Gaming Promotions

$100K Holiday Shopping Spree Drawings — Rush Rewards Members can earn entries toward the Holiday Shopping Spree on Tuesdays throughout November starting on Nov. 1 at 6 a.m. Each Tuesday starting at noon, players will be able to activate their drawing entries for the 2 p.m. drawing. Starting at 6 p.m., players will be able to activate their drawing entries for the 8 p.m. drawing. Each week, 20 shopping bags will be on stage and 10 winners will be called during each drawing hour. Players will pick a shopping bag in the order they were called and prizes range from the top prize of a $10,000 Macy’s gift card to $250 in Free Slot Play.

 Over $100K Mad Money Mania Drawings — Rush Rewards Members who earned entries from May 1—Oct. 31 are eligible for the Mad Money Mania drawings this month. Check in at a kiosk on Nov. 19 from noon—2:14 p.m. for the 2:15 p.m. drawing, and 5—7:14 p.m. for the 7:15 p.m. drawing. During drawing hours, 20 winners will be called to battle for a top prize of $20,000 cash. 

 Gift Giveaways — On Thursdays throughout November, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a free gift. Receive Oneida Silverware on Nov. 3; a turkey roaster on Nov. 10 and a $15 Giant Eagle Gift Card on Nov. 17. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. Backup gifts will be offered in the event that an item runs out.

 Mystery Gift Giveaway — On Tuesday, Nov. 29, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. can receive a mystery gift. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. (While supplies last).

Pigskins Pickem — On Wednesdays throughout football season, all Rush Rewards members who earn 250 same-day base points can make their picks for the upcoming weekend’s football matchups from 8 a.m.—11:59 p.m. The top 50 contestants with the most correct picks each week will win cash or Free Slot Play. Guests who play all season long will have a chance to participate in the finale drawing in January, with a top prize of $100,000.
Penguins Lucky 7’s — During each second period regular season home game that the Pens score, fans over 21 in attendance will earn $7 in Free Slot Play. Players with an actual ticket will have 48 hours to redeem their prize from the scheduled start of the game.
Penguins Lucky 7’s Monthly Drawings — Throughout the Penguin’s season, Rivers Casino will add $777 into a progressive jackpot with each second period goal the Pens score. On the second Thursday of each month, 7 winners will be drawn at 7 p.m. to split $7,000. On April 9, 100 total winners will be selected throughout the day starting at noon to split $100,000 in cash and Free Slot Play. All drawings lead up to the Finale at 8 p.m. when one lucky winner will win the Pens Progressive Jackpot.
New Member Giveaways — New members who sign up for a Rush Rewards Players Club Card and earn 250 same-day base points on the day they sign up will be eligible to pick a pull tab to win various amounts of Free Slot Play, Match Play, food vouchers or gifts. The top prize is $100 in Free Slot Play every week for an entire year.
November Birthday Celebrations — Happy Birthday to you! Any guest who visits the Rush Rewards Players Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.
Pittsburgh Proud — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the Red Cross.
Red Cross $10 for $10 Free Slot Play — On Tuesday, Nov. 1 and Wednesday, Nov. 2, from noon—8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to get $10 Free Slot Play. The donation table is located in front of Cíao.

 Table Games Promotions   

 Hot Shooters — Each day from noon—11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win $100 cash and $100 Match Play, if they have the highest number of rolls in the Craps Pit. Guests will have seven days to claim their prize at the cashier. In addition, if a guest rolls the dice 60 or more consecutive times, they will win $500 cash. The bounty will increase by $100 each day if no one rolls the dice 60 straight times.

 $1 Million Craps — Rush Rewards members playing craps have the chance to win $100,000 or even $1 million cash! If a guest rolls the dice 100 consecutive times, they’ll take home $100,000 cash. If a guest is able to roll 155 consecutive times they will win the $1 million grand prize!

 Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Mississippi Stud from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons. (Match Play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2016.)

 Service Industry Night — Each Monday in November, hot seat drawings will take place every half hour from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. to give away great prizes. The pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette.

 Football Party Pit — On Thursdays in November guests will have the chance to win hot seat drawings every 30 minutes from 6 p.m.—2 a.m. to receive great prizes. The Party Pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. Throughout the month, Rush Rewards members who receive a suited Blackjack, make two passes at Craps or hit a straight up wager paying 35-1 on Roulette will receive an entry to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming hometown game. The finale drawing will take place at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24. Entries must be submitted from 6—8:59 p.m. on the date of the drawing.

 Blazing 777 Blackjack — During November, Blackjack players can take part in a progressive side bet that wins based on how many sevens the player receives in their hand. The more sevens in your hand, the more you win. Any lucky seven is a winner and the progressive is based on the player’s first three cards only. More than $700,000 has been paid out since the start of the promotion in March!

 $25,000 Blazing 7’s Blackjack Tournament — During November, guests who win a progressive jackpot in Blazing 7’s Blackjack will receive a complimentary entry into the Blazing 7’s Blackjack tournament this December. Any guest who does not win a progressive jackpot Blazing 7 Blackjack can buy-in to the tournament for $50 cash.

 Poker Promotions

 Pittsburgh Poker Open — The Pittsburgh Poker Open returns to Rivers beginning Nov. 9 with several weeks of tournaments leading up to the main event on Nov. 18—21. The Prize Pool is a guaranteed $100,000 and the final points leader will win a seat into the next installment of the Pittsburgh Poker Open. Satellite tournaments will be taking place throughout the month, leading into the filming of CBS Sports’ “Poker Night in America” when it returns to Pittsburgh’s casino Nov. 19–21. High-stakes cash games will take place on Nov. 19–20 and the final table of the main event will be recorded on Nov. 21.

 $28,000 Mad Money Mondays High Hand — On Mondays throughout November, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win the High Hand. Players must have a full house or better, and the player who has the highest hand during the qualifying period will win $1,000 cash. The qualifying period begins at 11 a.m. on each Monday with the first payout beginning at noon and ending at 6 p.m.

 $28,000 Thursday High Hand — On Thursdays in November, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table will have the chance to win $1,000 cash. Players must have a full house or higher to win. The qualifying period begins at 4 p.m. with the first payout taking place at 5 p.m.

 $5,000 Friday High Hand — On Fridays in November, Rush Rewards members with a full house or higher at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win $300 cash every other hour. The qualifying period begins at 11 a.m. and lasts two hours.

 $12,800 Saturday High Hand — On Saturdays in November from 11 a.m.—midnight, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table can win $400. Players must have a full house or higher to win. The first payout takes place at noon.

 $20,000 Sunday High Hand — On Sundays in November, Rush Rewards members with a full house or higher at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win $400 cash if they have the high hand. Players must have a full house or better. The qualifying period begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. with the first payout taking place at 3 p.m.

 $14,000 Hot Seat Poker — On Tuesdays and Wednesdays in November, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table can win $200. Drawings will occur every hour from noon—midnight.

 $1,000,000 Bad Beat — From now until the end of 2016, Rush Rewards members are eligible to win the $1,000,000 Bad Beat in any pot-raked Texas Hold ‘Em game. To win the $1,000,000 Bad Beat, the winner must be holding a queen high straight flush of any suit and must lose to a Royal flush of the same suit. The hole cards of the player with the royal flush must be the Ace and King. The flop must contain a Queen, Jack and ten in any order. There must be a minimum of four players dealt in the hand.
