Rivers Casino Announces March Entertainment And Promotions

It’s time to welcome in a new season at the ‘Burgh’s casino 

PITTSBURGH — Feb. 28, 2018 — Winter’s thaw turns into spring with brand new events and promotions at Rivers Casino. This March, head to Rivers for happy hour, test your luck by trying to win a 2018 Jaguar F Pace SUV or enjoy any of our gaming promotions.

Gaming Promotions       

Penguins Shoot for $1 Million — Penguins fans who attend a home game can redeem their ticket at the Players Club for a chance to qualify for a shot to win $1 million in April 2018. Guests with a Pens ticket can play a kiosk game for a chance to qualify for the finale drawing on Saturday, April 14, to win $1 million among other great prizes.

Pens Passport Drawing — Winners from the Penguins Shoot for $1 Million qualifier drawings on Thursday, March 8 and Saturday, March 10, will receive an invitation into the March 10 Penguins Passport Finale Drawing at 8:30 p.m. One lucky Penguins Passport Winner will win $100 in Free Slot Play per week for one year, and have a one in 20 chance to win 2018-2019 home and away season tickets including travel, accommodations and $100,000.

Bubble Hockey Tournament — On Friday, March 9 and Saturday March 10, bubble hockey tournament winners have the chance to win $1,000 cash, a Penguins-branded bubble hockey machine and an automatic seat in the March 10, 8:30 p.m. finale drawing to be one of 10 finalists to win a Penguins Passport.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, March 13 from 4-7 p.m. Players who score in the top 50 will win Free Slot Play, with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to first place.

$100,000 Punch To Win — Last chance to qualify for the $100,000 Punch to Win Finale Drawing will be held Saturday, March 3 at 2 and 8 p.m. during the Wild Card Drawings.  Wild Card winners, plus January and February qualifiers, will have a chance to win the top prize of $100,000 cash at the finale.  

2018 Jaguar F Pace SUV Drawing — On Sunday, March 4, 10 winners who earned entries will be called at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. to receive $250 in Free Slot Play. Each winner will receive a physical entry into the finale drawing, where nine guests will win $1,000 in Free Slot Play and one lucky winner will walk away with a 2018 Jaguar F Pace SUV.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests will earn one entry for every taxable jackpot won on a slot machine until March 28. At 6 and 8 p.m. on March 28, 10 winners will be called to win their share of $5,000 Free Slot Play at each drawing.

Center for Victims — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to Center for Victims, a non-profit organization whose mission is to heal trauma, support victims in need of services and create social change for a more peaceful community.

Center for Victims $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, March 1, and Saturday, March 3, from noon to 8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to Center for Victims and receive $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play.

New Member Bring a Friend — All current Rush Rewards members who bring a friend to sign up for the Rush Rewards Players Club will receive a free buffet voucher for themselves and their friend. Guests can participate in the promotion once per week, and the new member will have an opportunity to play a kiosk game to win up to $100 Free Slot Play.

Table Games

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon to 11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win three daily prizes of $100 cash and $100 Match Play, $50 cash and $50 Match Play and $25 cash and $25 Match Play, if they have the most rolls in the craps pit.

Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play blackjack, mini baccarat and roulette from 5-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons for each game learned. (Vouchers can only be earned once for each game learned throughout 2018).

Table Games Party Pit — On Thursdays in March, guests will have the chance to win great prizes in hot seat drawings every 30 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps, blackjack and roulette. On Thursdays throughout the month, guests can earn entries for a chance to win a set of Pittsburgh hometown professional sports tickets. The drawing for the tickets will be held on Thursday, March 29, at 9 p.m.

Poker

March Daily High Hands — Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win various amounts of cash prizes ranging from $200 to $1,000.

March Madness High Hands — The Poker Room will hold a special March Madness high hand promotion March 5-11 with varying payouts during the designated periods. In addition to winning cash prizes, select players will qualify for the March Madness Bracket promotion.

March Madness Bracket — The 64 players who win a March Madness High Hand payout March 5-11 between 5 p.m.-5 a.m. will win a spot in the March Madness Bracket promotion. Qualified players will be randomly paired with a men’s college basketball team in the 2018 tournament. Players whose team is eliminated in the tournament will earn the following prizes:

•       3rd - $300                              6th - $2,500
