Rivers Casino Announces January Promotions

Begin the new year at Pittsburgh’s premier casino 

PITTSBURGH — Jan. 3, 2018 — Start the year off right with new events and promotions at Rivers Casino. Guests can punch their way to win $100,000 cash in the Punch To Win drawings, take a shot at winning the Penguins Shoot for $1 Million or participate in numerous other new promotions.

Gaming Promotions

Penguins Shoot for $1 Million — Penguins fans who attend a home game can redeem their ticket at the Players Club for a chance to qualify for a shot to win $1 million in April 2018. Guests with a Pens ticket can play a kiosk game for a chance to qualify for the finale drawing on Saturday, April 14, to win $1 million among other great prizes.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. The players who have the top 50 scores will win Free Slot Play, with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to the first place scorer.

$100,000 Punch To Win — On every Tuesday in January and Saturday, Jan. 20, all Rush Rewards members can compete to win prizes from $250 in Free Slot Play to $5,000 cash. Winners will receive a letter with the finale information for their chance to win $100,000.

Mad Money Mania — At 2:15 and 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 20 guests will be called to battle for up to $20,000 cash. Each winner will receive a physical entry to place in the drawing drum. The longer your name stays in the drum, the higher your prize. The last person in the drum wins the top prize of $20,000 cash.

Winter Winnings — All Rush Rewards Players Club members can earn one entry for every 25 points earned from Jan. 1 through 7:59 p.m. on Jan. 6 for the over $40,000 Winter Winnings drawings. On Jan. 6, drawings will be held at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Twenty winners will be called each hour for a chance to win their share of more than $40,000 in cash and Free Slot Play.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests will earn one entry for every taxable jackpot won on a slot machine in January. Players can deposit their entries into the drawing drum, and at 6 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 31, 10 winners will be called each drawing to win their share of $5,000 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Proud — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to The Pittsburgh Project.

The Pittsburgh Project $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 6, from noon to 8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to The Pittsburgh Project and receive $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play.

New Member Bring a Friend — All current Rush Rewards members who bring a friend to sign up for the Rush Rewards Players Club will receive a free buffet voucher for themselves and their friend. Guests can participate in the promotion once per week, and the new member will have an opportunity to play a kiosk game to win up to $100 Free Slot Play.

Table Games

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon to 11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win three daily prizes of $100 cash and $100 Match Play, $50 cash and $50 Match Play and $25 cash and $25 Match Play, if they have the most rolls in the craps pit.

Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play blackjack, mini baccarat and roulette from 5-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons for each game learned. (Vouchers can only be earned once for each game learned throughout 2018).

Table Games Party Pit — On Thursdays in January, guests will have the chance to win great prizes in hot seat drawings every 30 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps, blackjack and roulette. On Thursdays throughout the month, guests can earn entries for a chance to win a set of Pittsburgh hometown professional sports tickets. The drawing for the tickets will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 9 p.m.

Poker
