Rivers Casino Announces December Events And Promotions

Pittsburgh’s casino is spreading holiday cheer all month long 

PITTSBURGH — Dec. 1, 2017 — Jump into the joyous holiday season with a series of exciting events and promotions at Rivers Casino, including a special performance by LIGHTS OUT, the Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons Tribute. And be sure to make plans to join Rivers Casino for Pittsburgh’s biggest bash, when the casino hosts the Overtime on the River New Year’s Eve Party.

Gaming Promotions        

Penguins Shoot for $1 Million — Penguins fans who attend a home game can redeem their game ticket at the Players Club for a chance to qualify for a shot to win $1 million in April 2018. Tickets may be redeemed from 8 a.m. the following day through 72 hours after the start of the game. Guests with a game ticket can play a kiosk game for a chance to qualify for the finale drawing on Saturday, April 14, among other prizes. 

Range Rover Velar Drawings — Rush Rewards members will earn one entry for every 25 points earned from July 1 through Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6:59 p.m. On Dec. 3, ten winners will be called at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. to receive $250 in Free Slot Play and an entry into the finale. At the finale drawing, nine winners will receive $1,000 in Free Slot Play and one winner will receive a 2018 Range Rover Velar.

BMW 430i xDrive Convertible Car Drawings — Rush Rewards members will earn one entry for every 25 points earned from July 1 through Saturday, Dec. 30 at 6:59 p.m. On December 30, ten winners will be called at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. to receive $250 in Free Slot Play and an entry into the finale. At the finale drawing, nine winners will receive $1,000 in Free Slot Play and one winner will receive a 2018 BMW 430i xDrive Convertible.

$40,000 Holly Jolly Holiday Drawings — On Saturday, Dec. 2, all Rush Rewards members will have the chance to compete for various amounts of Free Slot Play and the top prize of $5,000 cash at each drawing. Drawings will take place at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Dec. 2. Guests must activate their entries at a kiosk between 4 and 7:59 p.m. in order to participate in the drawings.                                 

$40,000 Ugly Sweater Drawing — On the first three Wednesdays in December (Dec. 6, 13 and 20), all Rush Rewards members can compete for the chance to win various amounts of Free Slot Play and a daily top prize of $5,000 cash. On these days, 10 winners will be called during drawings at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. and at a finale drawing. Guests must activate their entries at a kiosk between 4-7:59 p.m. in order to participate in the drawings.

Touchdown Tuesdays — All Rush Rewards members can compete for the chance to win their share of $20,000 cash by earning entries into the Touchdown Tuesdays qualifying drawings. Qualifiers will be selected on Tuesday, Nov. 28, Dec. 5, 12 and 19 for a chance to participate in this month’s finale drawing on Saturday, Dec. 23.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, Dec. 12. Tournament play will start at 4 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. Those players who have the top 50 scores will win Free Slot Play, with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to the first place scorer.

Countdown To Cash — On Sunday, Dec. 31, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to compete for various amounts of Free Slot Play during drawings that will take place at 7, 9 and 11 p.m. on Dec. 31. At 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, ten winners will be called to split $40,000 cash, $5,000 in Free Slot Play and any rollover from the earlier drawings. Guests who show up at these times will each win a Free Slot Play prize. Guests must swipe in at a kiosk between 5 p.m. on Dec. 31 through 12:59 a.m. on Jan. 1 to activate their drawing entries.

Pittsburgh Proud — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to Play It Forward.

Play It Forward $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 9, from noon to 8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to Play It Forward and receive $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play.

New Member Bring a Friend — All current Rush Rewards members who bring a friend to sign up for a Rush Rewards Players Club Card will receive a free buffet voucher for themselves and for their friend (the voucher will be valid same-day and up to 30 days following sign-up). Guests can participate in the bring a friend promotion once per week, and the new member will have the opportunity to earn 250 same-day points and play the kiosk game to win Free Slot Play, up to $100.

Table Games

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon to 11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win three daily prizes of $100 cash and $100 Match Play, $50 cash and $50 Match Play and $25 cash and $25 Match Play if they have the highest number of rolls in the Craps Pit.

Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play roulette, mini baccarat and blackjack from 5-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons for each game learned. (Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2017).

Football Party Pit — On Thursdays in December, guests will have the chance to win great prizes in the hot seat drawings every 30 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps, blackjack and roulette. On Thursdays throughout the month, guests can earn entries for a chance to win a pair of Pittsburgh hometown professional football tickets. The drawing for the football tickets will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28, at 9 p.m.

Dining and Live Entertainment

Overtime on the River New Year’s Eve Party — Join Rivers Casino on Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the best New Year’s Eve bash in Pittsburgh. Overtime on the River includes live dance music by VDJ Rambo, as well as other food and fun. Tickets cost $50 and include $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play, a drink ticket and party favors.

Black and Gold Endzone Tailgate — Come out and cheer on our hometown professional football team during the Black and Gold Endzone tailgates. Join Rivers Casino and CBS Radio for the pre-game celebration before each remaining home game (Dec. 10, 17 and 31), and enjoy live music, great prizes, food trucks and more! The free fun begins three hours before kickoff.

LIGHTS OUT (Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons Tribute) — Guests are in for a treat on Saturday, Dec. 23 when Rivers Casino presents the harmonious sounds of this four part vocal group. LIGHTS OUT will perform two concerts as part of a special seasonal presentation at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets for the concert cost $20 and include $10 in Free Slot Play or Match Play.
