Enjoy the Holiday Season with Holly Jolly Jackpots and New Year’s Under the Big Top

PITTSBURGH — Dec. 1, 2014 — Join us as we say goodbye to 2014 and hello to 2015! Rivers Casino is ready to welcome the New Year with gaming promotions, food and beverage specials and live entertainment.  

Gaming Promotions 

$100,000 Great Gift Exchange – On Saturdays in December, players can earn entries to win an extra special gift. Five winners will be selected at 12, 2, 4, 6, and 8 p.m. to choose a gift. Winners can either keep the gift or exchange for another. If the guest chooses to trade in for another pick, they have to keep the newly picked gift with no other options. Players will have the chance to win one of the two top prizes of $5,000 cash. Entries can be activated at a kiosk each Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until 7:59 p.m. Guests can earn one entry for every 25 base points beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, December 1 through 7:59 p.m. Saturday, December 27. (Must be present and have valid photo ID to win.)

Holly Jolly Jackpots Walk-Up Slot Tournament – On Tuesday Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23, Rush Rewards members who earn 100 same-day base points are eligible to play in Rivers’ Holly Jolly slot tournament. Registration begins at 11 a.m. for the 11 a.m.—2 p.m. tournament, at 6 p.m. for the 6—9 p.m. tournament. The top 25 scores in each tournament will win a prize.

Pittsburgh Penguins® Lucky 7’s – When the Penguins® shoot, players score! For each second period regular season home game that the Penguins score, fans 21 years of age who attended the game can redeem the ad in Ice Magazine and that game’s ticket for $7 Free Slot Play for each goal scored. Guests have two days after the game to redeem at the Rush Rewards club.

Pittsburgh Penguins® $777 Progressive Jackpot – For each second period goal scored by the Pittsburgh Penguins® during every regular season home game, Rivers Casino will add $777 into a grand prize progressive cash jackpot. To be eligible to win, fans must attend a Penguins home game, redeem their Lucky 7’s ad at the casino and attend a drawing at Rivers Casino. (Must be a Rush Rewards Players Club member to participate.)

New Year’s Eve Drawings – Ring in 2015 in a big way! On Wednesday, Dec. 31, players have a chance to enter a drawing to win a share of $75,000. For every 100 base points earned since January 1, 2014 players will receive an entry into the drawing. Each tier will have a drawing during the evening and players must activate entries beginning at 8 p.m.: 

• Signature: 11:15 p.m. drawing
• Preferred: 12:15 a.m. drawing
• Rush: 1:15 a.m. drawing

Finale drawings for each tier will occur at 1:30 a.m. with cash prizes up to $15,000. Guests also have a chance to win a year of prizes including gas, groceries, Free Slot Play and more.

55+ Holiday Drawing – On Thursday, Dec. 4, 55+ Club members who check in at a promotional kiosk are eligible to participate in a holiday drawing. The drawing will take place from noon—4 p.m., and 55 winners will be chosen each hour. One winner will receive $555 cash and 54 winners will receive $25 Free Slot Play.

Extreme Wild & Crazy Cash Drawing – Guests who earned entries from June 1— Nov. 30 have the chance to win a share of $75,000 cash during the Extreme Wild & Crazy Cash drawing on Dec. 30. There will be two drawings, one at 2:15 p.m. and then at 7:15 p.m., six winning names each drawing will be randomly selected. The winners will be asked to select a numbered case on the promotional stage with a mystery cash prize inside each case. Players can win a share of $26,000 cash and Free Slot Play at each drawing.

December Birthday Bash – Rush Rewards members can visit the Players Club on your date of birth to receive a free dinner at Grand View Buffet. Additionally, throughout your birthday month, guests can take one free spin at Rivers’ kiosk game for the chance to win Free Slot Play for one year. Other prizes include various amounts of Free Slot Play and Rivers’ souvenirs.

Hot Seats – On Monday Dec. 29 and Tuesday Dec. 30, all Rush Rewards members playing with a card are eligible for hot seat drawings. Every 30 minutes from noon—4 p.m. and 6—10 p.m. one player will win $250 Free Slot Play. All players at the surrounding bank of the winner will also win Free Slot Play.

Party Pit - Table Games – On December 4, 11 and 18 from 6:30—1:30 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout December, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a scarf, mittens, hat and Free Slot Play on Dec. 9, $15 turkey or ham voucher on Dec. 14, panini press on Dec. 21 and a rotary waffle iron on Dec. 28. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. at the Gift Giveaway Center. (While supplies last.)

In Case You Missed It Gift – On Thursday, Dec. 18, Rush Rewards members, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. are eligible for a special gift. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. at the Gift Giveaway Center.

New Member Whirl N’ Win – New Rush Rewards members who earn 100 same-day base points are eligible to play the New Member Kiosk game. Prizes may include $5,000 cash, Free Slot Play or food credit.

$50,000 Point Challenge – On Monday, Dec. 29 from 3—5 p.m. and 9—11 p.m., all Rush Rewards members who swipe in at a Rivers kiosk have a chance to win Free Slot Play or cash prizes by being the top point earner of their card tier. Every hour the top three players with the highest points in each tier will win Free Slot Play. The top three point earners from 3—5 p.m. and 9—11 p.m. will win cash.

Pittsburgh Proud: St. Barnabas Foundation – On Thursday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 5, guests that donate $10 to the St. Barnabas Foundation will receive $10 Free Slot Play.
