Rivers Celebrates Lucky 7th Anniversary with Special Events and Promotions 

PITTSBURGH — July 29, 2016 — Rivers Casino rings in its official “Lucky 7th” anniversary on Aug. 9, but you can join in the celebration all month long with special gaming, dining and event promotions.

Lucky 7th Anniversary Promotions

777 Walk-Up Slot Tournaments — Guests who earn 150 same-day base points starting at 6 a.m. on Aug. 30 can participate in a slot tournament from 4—7 p.m. for a chance to win cash and Free Slot Play. Participants must register at any promotional kiosk from 1—6:45 p.m.

BMW 7 Series Car Giveaway — Continuing Rivers Casino’s Lucky 7th Anniversary celebration, guests will be selected on Saturday, Aug. 7 to have the chance to win a BMW 7 Series car at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. A wild card drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m. and the finale drawing at 8 p.m. Rush Rewards Members can earn entries through Aug. 7 at 6:59 p.m. Every 25 base points is equal to one entry (excluding poker).

7th Anniversary Table Game Drawings — Through Aug. 4, Rush Rewards members who hit a qualifying hand at a table game will receive an entry for drawings on Friday, Aug. 5, when winners will take home $500 cash. Drawings will take place at 8, 9 and 10 p.m., and there will be five winners called each drawing hour. The drawing drum will be open from 6—9:59 p.m. near Levels Lounge, and there will also be an Anniversary Bounty available for guests playing in the Craps Pit. If a player rolls the dice 77 consecutive times, they will win $7,000 cash. If the Bounty is not won during the promotional period, it will be split between all of the winners on Aug. 5.

Blazing 777 Blackjack — The more sevens in your hand, the more you win. Blackjack players can take part in a progressive side bet that wins based on how many sevens the player receives in their hand. Any lucky seven is a winner and the progressive is based on the player’s first three cards only.

Gaming Promotions

Queen of Hearts Drawings — On Saturdays in August, Rush Rewards Players Club Members who “Get the Queen, Get the Green.” For every 500 same-day base points earned each Saturday, guests will earn one entry for a chance to win cash and Free Slot Play. Entries earned each Saturday are only valid for that week’s drawing. One winner will pull a playing card looking for the Queen of Hearts and the drawing will take place at 9 p.m. Entries must be activated between 7—8:59 p.m. The grand prize each week is $10,000 cash, with $10,000 cash being added to the progressive jackpot each week the Queen of Hearts is not drawn. Since the start of the promotion in February, nearly $300,000 cash has been added to the progressive jackpot.

One Million Pennies Drawing – On Tuesday, Aug. 2, drawings will take place every other hour from noon—8 p.m.  Each drawing hour, five winners will be selected to receive $250 cash and a chance to advance to the 8 p.m. finale drawing with a top prize of $10,000 cash (one million pennies!)

Summer Olympics Drawings – On Aug. 10, 17 and 24, guests who earn 25 same-day base points can receive one entry to be selected to play an Olympic-themed game for a chance to win cash and Free Slot Play. Drawings will take place every other hour from noon—8 p.m. The guests who achieve the top scores in the game will get the first chance to select a prize tab. The top prize is $10,000 cash and will roll over each week it isn’t selected. Entries must be activated between 10 a.m.—7:59 p.m. on each drawing day.

Smart Band Watch Gift Giveaway — On Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m.—8 p.m., guests who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to receive a free Smart Band Watch. Players must pick up a voucher at the kiosks then redeem the voucher at the Gift Giveaway Center. (While supplies last.)

Gift Giveaways — Throughout August, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a duck feather pillow set on Sunday, Aug. 14; a queen down comforter on Tuesday, Aug. 16; queen microfiber sheets on Sunday, Aug. 21 and a collapsible hamper on Sunday, Aug. 28. August Birthday Celebrations – Happy Birthday to you! Any guest who visits the Rush Rewards Players Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.

New Member Giveaways – New members who sign up for a Rush Rewards Players Club Card and earn 250 same-day base points on the day they sign up will be eligible to pick a pull tab to win various amounts of Free Slot Play, Match Play, food vouchers or gifts. The top prize is $100 in Free Slot Play every week for an entire year.

Pittsburgh Proud – All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

NAMI $10 for $10 Free Slot Play — On Tuesday, Aug. 2 and Wednesday, Aug. 3, from noon—8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to get $10 Free Slot Play. The donation table is located in front of Cíao.

Table Games        

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon—11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win $100 cash and $100 Match Play, if they have the highest number of rolls in the Craps Pit. Guests will have seven days to claim their prize at the cashier. In addition, if a guest rolls the dice 60 or more consecutive times, they will win $500 cash. The bounty will increase by $100 each day if no one rolls the dice 60 times.

$1 Million Craps — Rush Rewards members playing craps have the chance to win $100,000 or even $1 million cash! If a guest is able to roll the dice 100 consecutive times, they’ll take home $100,000 cash. Roll 155 consecutive times and win the $1 million grand prize!

Shuffle Master Classic — Through Aug. 31, guests who hit a qualifying hand (five card Royal Flush) in Let It Ride, Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Mississippi Stud, Crazy 4, Four Card or Three Card Poker will win $1,250 toward a trip to Las Vegas to play in the $250,000 Shuffle Master Classic Three Card Poker National Championship.

Learn to Play — Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons. (Match Play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2016.)

Tropical Party Pit — On Wednesdays and Thursdays in August from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. Throughout August, Rush Rewards members who receive a suited Blackjack, make two passes at Craps or hit a straight up wager paying 35-1 on Roulette will receive an entry to win a trip to Las Vegas. The finale drawing will take place at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25. Entries must be submitted from 6—8:59 p.m. on the date of the drawing.

Poker

Thousand Dollar Thursdays — Guests who have the high hand at live cash tables during the qualifying period on Thursdays in August will win $1,000 extra cash. The qualifying period begins at 2 p.m. with payouts taking place from 3—11 p.m.

August Baseball Drop Poker — On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in August, guests playing in live, qualifying cash games will be selected in hot seat drawings for a chance to drop a baseball token down the prize board to win a cash prize ranging from $100—$1,000. Winners will be selected every other hour from 10 a.m.—10 p.m.

$6,000 High Hand — On Sundays in August, Rush Rewards members with a full house or higher at a live qualifying cash table are eligible to win $300 cash. The qualifying period begins at 1 p.m. on each of these Sundays with the first payout beginning at 2 p.m.

$20,000 High Hand — On Saturdays in August, Rush Rewards members with a full house or higher at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win $400 cash. The qualifying period begins at 11 a.m. with the first payout taking place at noon.

$1,000,000 Bad Beat — From now until the end of 2016, Rush Rewards members are eligible to win the $1,000,000 Bad Beat in any pot-raked Texas Hold ‘Em game. To win the $1,000,000 Bad Beat, the winner must be holding a queen high straight flush, or any suit must lose to a Royal flush of the same suit. The hole cards of the player with the royal flush must be the Ace and King. The flop must contain a Queen, Jack and ten. There must be a minimum of four players dealt in the hand.
