Rivers Casino Serves Up Bountiful Events and Promotions

PITTSBURGH – October 29, 2015 – This November is stuffed full of new gaming promotions, dining specials and live entertainment at Rivers Casino.

Gaming Promotions

$50K Pluck for Luck – On Wednesdays and Thursdays in November, Rush Rewards members who earn 250 same-day base points will be eligible to pick a turkey for a chance to qualify to play the Pluck for Luck Payout Machine. Those who receive an instant win will be able to pluck a feather at the payout machine to win various amounts of cash, Free Slot Play, lottery tickets or, potentially, the progressive grand prize. Guests who earn entries will be eligible for the finale drawings on Friday, Nov. 27, taking place every other hour from noon through 8 p.m.

Walk-Up Slot Tournaments – On Tuesdays in November, guests who earn 100 same-day base points are eligible to play in one of two slot tournaments. Tournaments will take place from 11 a.m.—2 p.m. and 6—9 p.m. Earn 200 points and play in both tournaments. First prize is $1,000 cash. Players who place between second place and 20th will receive $100 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Penguins® Lucky 7’s – When the Penguins shoot, players score! For each second period regular season home game that the Penguins score, fans 21 years of age and older who attended the game can redeem that game’s ticket for $7 Free Slot Play for each goal scored. Guests have two days after the game to redeem at the Rush Rewards club.

Pittsburgh Penguins® $777 Progressive Jackpot – For each second period goal scored by the Pittsburgh Penguins during every regular season home game, Rivers Casino will add $777 into a grand prize progressive cash jackpot. To be eligible to win, fans must attend a Penguins home game and attend a drawing at Rivers Casino. (Must be a Rush Rewards Players Club member to participate.)

$250K Hometown First Down – Each Tuesday throughout football season, Rush Rewards members can participate in a free football kiosk game from 6 a.m.—11:59 p.m. to have a chance at winning a top prize of $7,000 cash. Based on how many first downs our home team has during each game, guests can also swipe at any kiosk to earn seven times the number of entries for the finale drawing. The finale drawing will take place at the end of football season, January 23, where 100 winners will receive prizes, including a top prize of $100,000 cash. Each new Rush Reward member will automatically receive 100 entries into the finale drawing.

Over $100K RV Drawings – On Tuesdays and Saturdays in November, guests can earn entries for a chance to win cash, Free Slot Play or a New Class A-2015 Thor Motor Coach Axis RV. All guests can earn one entry for every 25 base points between 6 a.m.—7:59 p.m. Drawings will take place every Saturday in November, with the finale RV drawing occurring on Nov. 28.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout November, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a Coleman Coffee Air pot on Nov. 1; a Proctor Silex slow cooker on Nov. 8; a $15 Giant Eagle gift card on Nov. 15; and a men’s grooming set on Nov. 29. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last.)

Veterans Day Gift Giveaway – On Wednesday, Nov. 11, veterans who visit Rivers Casino are eligible to receive their choice of a free t-shirt or American flag glasses. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last.). Must show military ID to receive gift.

Pick a Gift Giveaway – On Wednesday, Nov. 18, invited guests and Rush Reward players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to receive a free gift. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last.)

November Birthday Celebrations – Happy Birthday to you! Any guests who visit the Rush Rewards Player Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.

$10 for $10 – On Nov. 10 and 11, guests who visit Rivers between noon and 8 p.m. have the option to donate $10 cash to the American Red Cross to receive $10 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Proud – All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the American Red Cross. The Pittsburgh Proud donation box is located between the two elevators that lead to the parking garage.

Table Games

Learn to Play – Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play craps and blackjack. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 match play coupons. (Match play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2015.)

Hot Shooters – Hot Shooters is Rivers’ exciting craps promotion. Every day, the top five “hot shooters” will win match play and cash prizes.

• Second Place: $50 match play and $50 cash 
• Third Place: $25 match play and $25 cash 
• Fourth Place: $10 match play and $10 cash

Football Party Pit – On Thursdays in November from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit also features $5 craps, blackjack and roulette. Guests can earn entries into a special drawing for Steelers tickets on Nov. 26.

Poker Room

Pittsburgh Poker Open – The Pittsburgh Poker Open returns to Rivers beginning Nov. 5 with several weeks of tournaments leading up to the main event on Nov. 20 and 21.The first-place prize of the main event is expected to exceed $150,000 and the final points leader will win a seat into the next installment of the Pittsburgh Poker Open. Satellite tournaments will be taking place throughout the month, leading into the filming of CBS Sports’ “Poker Night in America” when it returns to Pittsburgh’s casino Nov. 20–23. Cash games will take place on Nov. 20–22 and the final table of the main event will be recorded on Nov. 23.

$11K Splash of Cash – On Saturdays in November, $100 cash will be added to live, qualifying tables every hour.

Cash Wheel – Every hour from 12:30 p.m.—12:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in November, players at live, qualifying tables will be randomly selected to spin the cash wheel for a chance to win up to $1,000 cash.

High Hand – On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in November, the player at the live, qualifying tables with the highest hand each hour from 12:30—11:30 p.m. will win $200 cash.

Sunday Special High Hand – On Sundays in November, the player at the live, qualifying tables with the highest hand each hour between 11 a.m. and midnight will receive $400 cash.

$20K Game Day Quarter Cash Promotion – On Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 29, guests playing at live, qualifying cash games will be eligible to win $250 cash during each quarter of the Steelers’ game.
