Player Wins More Than $300,000 To Set New Bad Beat Jackpot Record At Rivers Casino
Guest Wins Big in Texas Hold’em Game
PITTSBURGH — Feb. 11, 2015 — Rivers Casino saw another record-breaking win on January 16. A table of eight players in a game of Texas Hold’em walked away with $304,963.20 after hitting the largest Bad Beat Jackpot in Rivers Casino history.
To win the Bad Beat Jackpot in Rivers’ Texas Hold’em game, the losing hand actually earns the most cash, the winner takes second prize and the table splits the rest. One player walked away with $121,987.20; the other with $91,488; and six players received $15,248 each. A jackpot of any kind is defined as a win of $1,200 or more.
“The energy in the poker room was at an all-time high as players waited for the jackpot to hit,” said Craig Clark, Rivers Casino General Manager. “We would like to congratulate all of the players at the winning table.”
The new Bad Beat Jackpot is currently $150,157.05.
Rivers’ players have had big wins over the past year, including a multi-table progressive jackpot of $170,371 and a Quick Hit Platinum slot win of $260,767.
