Hot For Summer: Rivers Casino Presents 2016 Free Concert Series

“Live from the River” Music Lineup Features Pittsburgh Favorites 

PITTSBURGH – May 16, 2016 – Rivers Casino has announced the list of artists who will be performing during the casino’s free “Live from the River” summer concert series. Between May and July, guests will be able to enjoy food, drinks and live music in the casino’s outdoor amphitheater, right on the shores of the Ohio River. The concerts will kick off with a Pittsburgh favorite, Artistree, on May 27.

This year’s lineup also includes: 

• May 28: Mystic Rhythms (Rush Tribute) 
• May 28: Tres Lads 
• June 17: Disco 54
• June 18: Tumbling Down (John Mellencamp Tribute)  
• July 3: Green River (Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute)
• July 4: Bon Journey
• July 16: Don’t Look Back (Boston Tribute)

“The amphitheater provides the perfect setting to sit back, relax and enjoy a concert on a summer night,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. “‘Live from the River’ has become a summer tradition and we’re looking forward to welcoming both new and old favorite bands back to Rivers.”

Guests will be able to purchase hot-off-the-grill favorites including, hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled kielbasa, along with a variety of drinks to enjoy while listening to the live music. Access to the parking garage and casino building is limited to guests ages 21 and up.
