Good Luck Blossoms at Pittsburgh’s Casino with New Events and Promotions

PITTSBURGH – April 1, 2016 – Spring is underway at Rivers Casino with fresh, all-new gaming promotions, dining specials and live entertainment.

Gaming Promotions

$50K Tax Bracket Drawing – Guests can earn one entry for every 25 same-day base points on Sunday, April 17 for a chance to win a top prize of $10,000 cash. Every half hour from noon—7:30 p.m., four winners will be selected for a place on the bracket to face off head-to-head. The more games you advance, the more cash you win! Guests must check in from 10 a.m.—3:30 p.m. to participate in the first half of the bracket and from 2—7:29 p.m. for the second half of the bracket.

All About the Luck Payout – Guests who earned entries throughout March will be eligible for the All About the Luck finale drawings on April 1, when 10 winners will be announced every other hour from noon—8 p.m. The final winner announced at 8 p.m. will receive the progressive grand prize!

Queen of Hearts Drawings – On Saturdays in April, Rush Rewards Players Club Members who “Get the Queen, Get the Green.” For every 500 same-day base points earned each Saturday, guests will earn one entry for a chance to win cash and Free Slot Play. Entries earned each Saturday are only valid for that week’s drawing. One winner will pull a playing card looking for the Queen of Hearts and the drawing will take place at 9 p.m. Entries must be activated between 7—8:59 p.m. The grand prize each week is $10,000 cash, with $10,000 cash being added to the progressive jackpot each week the Queen of Hearts is not drawn. Since the start of the promotion in February, $90,000 cash has been added to the progressive jackpot. The next drawing will take place Saturday, April 2.

Pittsburgh Penguins® Lucky 7’s – When the Penguins shoot, players score! For each second period goal scored by the Pittsburgh Penguins during a regular season home game, fans 21 years of age and older who attended the game can redeem that game’s ticket for $7 Free Slot Play for each goal scored. Guests have two days after the start of the game to redeem at the Rush Rewards club.

Pittsburgh Penguins® $777 Progressive Jackpot – For each second period goal scored by the Pittsburgh Penguins during every regular season home game, Rivers Casino will add $777 into a grand prize progressive cash jackpot, given away April 9 at 8 p.m. (Must be a Rush Rewards Players Club member to participate.)

• Drawing Details: During the finale drawing on April 9, 20 winners will be announced every other hour from noon—8 p.m. A total of 100 winners will be called throughout the day to split $100,000 in cash and Free Slot Play. At 8 p.m., the grand prize winner will win the Penguins® Progressive Jackpot.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout April, invited guests and Rush Rewards players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. New Member Giveaways – New members who sign up for a Rush Reward’s Players Club Card and earn 250 same-day base points will be eligible to swipe to win various amounts of Free Slot Play, up to $500.

$10 for $10 – On April 5 and 6, guests who visit Rivers between noon and 8 p.m. have the option to donate $10 cash to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to receive $10 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Proud – All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Pittsburgh Proud donation box is located between the two elevators that lead to the parking garage.

Table Games

$1 Million Craps – Rush Rewards members playing craps have the chance to win $100,000 or even $1 million cash! If a guest is able to roll the dice 100 consecutive times, they’ll take home $100,000 cash. Roll 155 consecutive times and win the $1 million grand prize!

Blazing 777 Blackjack – The more sevens in your hand, the more you win! Throughout April, blackjack players can take part in a progressive side bet that wins based on how many sevens the player receive in their hand. Any lucky seven is a winner and the progressive is based on the player’s first three seven cards only.

Three Card Poker Tournament – Guests can earn entries for the Three Card Poker Tournament at Rivers Casino on Saturday, May 14. Players receive a complimentary entry for winning a Mini-Royal progressive jackpot on Three Card Poker, or a Royal Flush or Straight Flush progressive jackpot on Let It Ride Poker, Four Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker or Mississippi Stud Poker. Players will receive an entry ticket for a drawing to be held on Saturday, May 7 when they have a Three of a Kind or better on Three Card Poker, Let It Ride Poker, Four Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker or Mississippi Stud Poker and Pai Gow Poker (High Hand.) Players in the May tournament will compete for their share of at least $10,000 cash.

Learn to Play – Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play Craps, Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 match play coupons. (Match play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2016.)

Baseball Party Pit – On Thursdays in April from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. Throughout April, Rush Rewards members who receive a suited Blackjack, make two passes at Craps or hit a straight up wager paying 35-1 on Roulette will receive an entry to win two tickets to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play at home. The drawing will take place at 9 p.m. on April 28. Entries must be submitted from 6—8:59 p.m. on the date of the drawing.

Poker Room

Pittsburgh Poker Open Leaderboard – From April 1—4, guests playing at live, qualifying cash tables are eligible to accumulate points by finishing in the payout portion of any tournaments that are part of the Pittsburgh Poker Open Spring Series. The player with the highest score during the qualifying period in March and April will win $250 cash, a trophy and a seat into the next Pittsburgh Poker Open Championship Event. The production team from Poker Night in America will be on-site April 2—4 to record the Main Event final table, with poker pros Jennifer Tilly, Matt Glantz and others.

$24,000 April Hours – On Saturdays in April, Rush Rewards members playing in the poker room will earn one entry for every five hours played for a chance to win up to $3,000 cash. Drawings will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Entries can be activated on the kiosks until 6:59 p.m.

$9K High Hand – Every Sunday in April, guests playing at live, qualifying cash tables with the highest hand (full house or higher) will win $400 cash. Qualifying periods begin at 11 a.m. with the first payout taking place at 1 p.m. Payouts will occur every other hour until 11 p.m.

$24K High Hand – Every Tuesday/Thursday in April, guests playing at live, qualifying cash tables with the highest hand (full house or higher) will win $500 cash. Qualifying periods begin at 10 a.m. with the first payout taking place at noon. Payouts will occur every other hour until 10 p.m.
