Andrew’s Steak & Seafood Celebrates Summer With “Picnic On The Patio”

Enjoy a festive atmosphere, live entertainment and new summer menu at Rivers Casino

PITTSBURGH — July 24, 2017 — Relax this summer and sip on sangria and margaritas on the patio at Andrew’s Steak & Seafood, all while overlooking the Ohio River. Rivers Casino is offering the best picnic in the ‘Burgh at Andrew’s Steak & Seafood on Thursdays throughout August.

Enjoy the live music and festive picnic decorations, while your picnic entrée is prepared in front of you on the patio grill. If it rains, Picnic on the Patio will be available indoors.

Picnic on the Patio offers a special three-course prix fixe menu. After starting with one of three summer-inspired salads, guests will enjoy a fresh-from-the-grill entree, selected from the following options:

• Chimichurri Flank Steak – sliced flank steak, smoked tomato salsa, roasted jalapeno cilantro, flour tortilla
• Filet Medallions Oscar – two petite filets, lamb crab, asparagus, béarnaise sauce
• Chargrilled Kabobs – chicken breast, onion, red bell peppers, squash, portobello mushroom
• Skuna Bay Salmon – key lime, mojo sauce

A trio of family-styled side dishes are available to enjoy, as well. Top off your meal with a seasonal sweet treat, strawberry shortcake featuring orange shortbread, strawberry coulis and vanilla ice cream.

“It’s a gourmet twist on the classic picnic, with music and riverfront views — the perfect summer evening awaits!” said Andrea Kleinrock-Marmion, vice president of food and beverage for Rivers Casino.

Picnic on the Patio will feature live musical performances from 6-9 p.m. each Thursday night. The scheduled performances include:

• Aug. 3: The Vagrants
• Aug.10: Nina Sainato Duo
• Aug. 17: American Honey
• Aug. 24: Lava Game Duo
• Aug. 31: Koz

Andrew’s Steak & Seafood was honored earlier this month by Wine Spectator magazine with a fourth Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants around the world that provide first-class wine lists. Andrew’s is open Wednesday and Thursday from 5-9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m. and on Sunday from 5-9:30 p.m. Picnic on the Patio is only available on Thursdays and costs $35 per person.
