Winter comedy series features a spectrum of ‘Burgh talent

PITTSBURGH — Jan. 31, 2018 — Rivers Casino brings back its popular stand-up comedy series, “A Funny Thing Happened at Rivers Casino,” on Thursdays this winter from Feb. 1 to March 8.

The new lineup of comedy acts will be performed in the back of Wheelhouse Bar & Grill and hosted by Pittsburgh comedian, Tony “T-Robe” Roberson. T-Robe got his break in entertainment by making crowds roar at open mic nights in local bars. Since then, T-Robe’s career has taken off; he has shared the stage with numerous film and television stars.

This season’s comedy lineup features Western Pa. talent, as well as comics who perform all across the country, including:

  • Feb. 1: John Bruton and Chuck Kreiger
  • Feb. 8: Brian Tidwell and Shaun Blackham
  • Feb. 15: Ray Zawodni and Derrick Knopsnyder
  • Feb. 22: Jeff Konkle and TuRae
  • March 1: Shannon Norman and Mike Wysocki
  • March 8: Ramsey Daniels and Gene Collier
