PITTSBURGH — July 31, 2017 — There’s more summer fun in store at the North Shore’s premier entertainment destination! Enjoy all-new gaming promotions, dining specials and live entertainment. Catch the final performance of this year’s “Live on the River” summer concert series and don’t miss the action-packed Rivers Rumble Boxing event returning for a second time this year on August 12.

Gift Giveaways

8th Anniversary Drawings — Beginning August 1, all Rush Rewards members can earn entries into the 8th Anniversary drawings. On Tuesdays in August, drawings will be held every hour from 1-8 p.m., where eight winners will be called each hour to earn $200 Free Slot Play. A total of 64 winners will be called throughout the day and one lucky guest will win the grand prize of $2,000 cash plus roll over at 8 p.m. each week. Guests must swipe their Rush Rewards card at a kiosk to activate their entries.

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League walk-up tournament will continue on Tuesday, August 8. Tournament play will start at 4 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. All Rush Rewards Members who earn 100 same-day points can register to play in the walk-up tournament during the three hour period. Guests must print their registration slip at any promotional kiosk from 1-6:45 p.m. Those who have the top 50 scores will win $100 in Free Slot Play, with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to the first place scorer.

Over $100,000 Mad Money Mania Drawings — On Saturday, August 12, guests can compete for the chance to win various amounts of Free Slot Play and the top prize of $20,000 cash. At the 2:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. drawings, 20 winners will be called to compete for the top prize. During each drawing, five individuals will win $1,000 Free Slot Play, five contestants will win $1,500 Free Slot Play, the next five contestants will win $2,000 Free Slot Play, four will win $2,500 Free Slot Play and one lucky winner will take home $20,000 cash. Guests can earn entries into the drawings for every 25 points earned from February 1-July 31. Guests can activate their entries from noon-2:14 p.m. for the 2:15 p.m. drawing and from 5-7:14 p.m. for the 7:15 p.m. drawing.

Over $40,000 Beat the Heat Drawings — On Saturday, August 5, guests can compete for their share of over $40,000 cash and various amounts of Free Slot Play during drawings at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. During each drawing hour, 20 winners will be called to compete for the top prize of $5,000 cash. Rush Rewards members can earn one entry for every 25 points earned from February 1 through 7:59 p.m. on August 5. Guests can activate entries into the drawings at a promotional kiosk between 4-7:59 p.m.

2017 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 Car Drawings — On Sunday, August 6, the 2017 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 Car drawings will be held at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. followed by a finale drawing. At each drawing, 10 winners will be called to receive $250 Free Slot Play and a physical entry into the finale drawing. At the finale drawing, 10 winners will be selected with nine individuals receiving $1,000 Free Slot Play and one lucky person will win the 2017 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 grand prize. Guests can earn entries into the drawings for every 25 points earned from February 1 through 6:59 p.m. on August 6. Guests must check in at the kiosk between 11 a.m.-6:59 p.m.

August Birthday Celebrations — Happy Birthday to you! Any guest who visits the Rush Rewards Players Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet. All guests can swipe once at a promotional kiosk during their birthday month to play the Rivers Casino Birthday Wheel Game. Guests will win offers ranging from buffet coupons to various amounts of Free Slot Play.

August Birthday Drawing — All Rush Rewards Players Club Members with a birthday in August will be able to participate in the monthly birthday drawings on Saturday, August 5, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. All guests will receive one free entry and can earn one additional entry on Saturday, August 5 for every 25 points earned from 6 a.m. until 4:59 p.m. Guests must check in at a promotional kiosk between 1 p.m. and 4:59 p.m. During each drawing, 20 winners will be chosen and 17 contestants will win $150 Free Slot Play, two individuals will win $750 Free Slot Play and one lucky winner will receive $1,000 in cash.

Pittsburgh Proud — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, August 3 and Saturday, August 5, from noon-8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and get $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play. The donation table is located in front of Cíao.

Table Games

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon-11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards Members will have the chance to win three daily prizes of $100 cash and $100 Match Play, $50 cash and $50 Match Play and $25 cash and $25 Match Play if they have the highest number of rolls in the Craps Pit. Guests will have seven days to claim their prize at the cashier. In addition, if a guest rolls the dice 60 or more consecutive times, they will win $500 cash. The bounty will increase by $100 each day if no one rolls the dice 60 straight times.

Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Blackjack from 5-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons for each game learned. (Match Play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2017.)

Baseball Party Pit — On Thursdays in August, guests will have the chance to win great prizes in the hot seat drawings every 30 minutes with the first drawing at 6:30 p.m. and the last drawing at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. On Thursdays throughout the month, guests can earn entries for a chance to win a pair of Pittsburgh Pirates tickets. Entries can be earned by receiving a suited Blackjack, making two passes at Craps, or anytime a Roulette player hits a straight up wager paying 35-1. The drawing for the Pirates tickets will be held on Thursday, August 31, at 9 p.m.

Mad Money Monday High Hand — On Mondays throughout August, Rush Rewards Members playing at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win the High Hand prize. Players must have a full house or better, and the player who has the highest hand during the qualifying period will win $200 cash. The qualifying periods last one hour and begin at 4 p.m., with the first payout at 5 p.m., and ends at 10 p.m.

August Tuesday and Wednesday High Hand — On Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win $100 cash between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. The qualifying period begins each Tuesday and Wednesday at 4 p.m. with the first payout at 5 p.m. Each qualifying period will last one hour.

Thursday High Hand — On Thursdays in August, Rush Rewards Members with a full house or higher at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win $500 or $1,000 cash. The qualifying period begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Each qualifying period lasts an hour, with the first payout beginning at 4 p.m. The player who has the highest hand during the qualification period will win $500 cash. The 4 and 11 p.m. payouts are $1,000 cash. Players must use at least one card in their hand in order to qualify.

Friday High Hand — On Fridays in August, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table can win $500 or $1,000 cash. Players must have a full house or higher to win. The qualifying period begins at 5 p.m. with the first payout at 6 p.m. Players can win $500 cash and also have a chance to win $1,000 cash at the 6, 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. drawings. Each qualifying period will last one hour and will reset at the end of that time period until 2 a.m.

Saturday High Hand — On Saturdays in August, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table can win $500 or $1,000 cash. Players must have a full house or higher to win. The qualifying period begins at 11 a.m. with the first payout at noon. Players can win $500 cash and have a chance to win $1,000 cash at the 3, 4, 7, 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. drawings. Each qualifying period will last one hour and will reset at the end of that time period until 2 a.m.

Sunday High Hand — On Sundays in August, Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table will have a chance to win up to $200 cash. Players are eligible to win each hour from 2-8 p.m. Players must have a full house or higher and must use at least one card in their hand to win. The qualifying period begins at 1 p.m. with the first payout at 2 p.m. Each qualifying period will last one hour and will reset at the end of that time period until 8 p.m.

Picnic on the Patio — Relax on Thursdays throughout August while sipping on sangria and margaritas on the patio at Andrew’s Steak & Seafood. Enjoy live music and a festive picnic atmosphere along with a special three-course prix fixe menu. Cost is $35 and includes a summer-inspired salad, fresh-from-the-grill entrée and dessert.

Live on the River — The summer’s best tunes can be found right on the shores of the Ohio River. “Live on the River,” Rivers Casino’s free summer concert series hosts its final performance at the casino’s amphitheater on Friday, August 11. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
