Free Bonus Blackjack is a variant of Blackjack and may offer two different Blackjack payouts 6 to 5 and 3 to 2 . The player begins by placing their main Blackjack wager. Optionally, they may also place a Freebie wager and/or Dealer 22 wager and a progressive wager.
The Blackjack game is then dealt and played as normal with the following nonstandard rules:
- If the player doubles on a hard 9, 10, or 11, they do not need to place an additional wager. Instead, a “Free Bonus” lammer is provided by the house to match the original wager. (Note, the player may still double other hands, in which case they do need to double their wager in the usual way). If the player splits any pair other than a pair of 10-valued cards, they do not need to place an additional wager on the new split hand.
- A “Free Bonus” lammer is used on the new hand instead. (Note, the player may still split 10s, in which case they will place a new split wager in the usual way). If the dealer busts with a total of 22, any Blackjack wagers that have not already been resolved through player Blackjack or player bust will push.
For the purposes of wager resolution, “Free Bonus” lammers are treated as a regular wager, with the exception that the lammer itself (and the value it represents) is returned to the house when the hand is resolved, regardless of whether the wager wins, pushes, or loses.
FREEBIE WAGERS:
The Freebie wager is resolved based on the number of “Free Bonus” lammers the player accumulates over the course of the game, through splitting and/or doubling. If the player receives at least one lammer, the wager wins and pays according to scenario, as given in Table 1. Otherwise, the wager loses.
- 7 - 1000 to 1
- 6 - 300 to 1
- 5 - 100 to 1
- 4 - 60 to 1
- 3 - 30 to 1
- 2 - 10 to 1
- 1 - 3 to 1
DEALER 22 WAGER:
The Dealer 22 Wager wins if the dealer busts with a total of exactly 22. (Note, even if all player hands have been resolved through Blackjack and/or bust, the dealer will still draw out for the purposes of resolving the Dealer 22 wager). The wager pays according to the dealer hand, as given below. If the dealer ends with any total other than 22, the wager loses.
