ARRIVAL FROM SWEDEN

THE MUSIC OF ABBA

DATE & TIME
THURSDAY, MAY 14 | 7PM
Location
The Event Center

Acclaimed ABBA tribute act ARRIVAL from Sweden: The Music of ABBA, as seen on PBS, will bring the timeless hits of the Swedish pop icons to life on The Event Center stage during an upcoming show at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m.

Often hailed as the closest experience to seeing ABBA live, ARRIVAL from Sweden: The Music of ABBA was founded by original ABBA musician Rutger Gunnarsson and Swedish artist Vicky Zetterberg in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The group quickly became one of the world’s most popular and highest-selling ABBA tribute acts.

Since the start in 1995, the band has toured in over 80 countries, done almost 140 successful U.S. tours and has appeared on several TV and radio shows all over the world.

ARRIVAL from Sweden, with its production, “The Music of ABBA,” has sold out arenas and venues all over the world since 1995 and is the absolute best and most authentic ABBA show there is. Hits such as “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” and many more are delivered with such accuracy, it’s hard to believe that it’s not the real ABBA on stage.

ARRIVAL from Sweden has also played with more than 150 symphony orchestras throughout the world. The group’s touring history includes successful shows alongside some of the finest orchestras in the U.S., such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

ARRIVAL from Sweden is the only group to ever have been given a previously unreleased ABBA song directly from Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA. The song “Just A Notion” was released by ARRIVAL from Sweden in 1999 and was re-released by the original ABBA in 2021 on their latest record, “Voyage.”

Must be 21 years of age or older to be on Rivers Casino property. No refunds.
