After a few years of semi-retirement, Johnny Angel and The Halos are back and ready to rock The Event Center at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. The popular ‘Burgh band brings its soulful rock show to Rivers on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $20. Expect to hear some of your favorite Halos’ arranged soul and rock tunes from their albums, plus some holiday memories from days gone by. It’s time to reminisce about
their days playing venues like Three Rivers Stadium, Heinz Hall, the Benedum Center, Hartwood Acres, Conneaut Lake, Geneva on the Lake and West View Park. Singing, dancing, having fun and remembering the good old days is on the band’s agenda.
“Johnny Angel and The Halos are such a fun-loving, fan-favorite Pittsburgh band,” said Shannon Redmond, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. “We’re excited to host their first show in a few years!”
Comprised of nine talented musicians and with a career spanning 55+ years performing the “Music of your Life,” including the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s, Johnny Angel and The Halos have also worked with many iconic musicians from those decades like the Temptations, Chuck Berry, Frankie Valli and Ray Charles to name a few.
