Rickey Smiley
Legendary comedian, actor, television host, and nationally syndicated radio personality Rickey Smiley brings his acclaimed stand-up comedy to Rivers Casino Philadelphia this summer. Smiley will take the stage for one night only at The Event Center on Thursday, August 20, at 8PM.
With a career spanning more than 30 years, Smiley has become one of the most recognizable voices in comedy and entertainment. Smiley, known for his unforgettable characters, quick wit, and high-energy performances, continues to headline theaters nationwide—currently making special appearances on the Martin Lawrence-hosted “LIT AF Tour.”
Smiley starred in the stand-up specials “Rickey Smiley: Open Casket Sharp” and “Comedy Central Presents: Rickey Smiley” and released eight best-selling albums, including the No. 1 comedy album “Rickey Smiley: Prank Calls 6.” Fans know and love Smiley for his fan-favorite characters, including Ms. Bernice Jenkins, Lil' Daryl, Joe Willie, and Beauford.
Beyond stand-up, Smiley is the longtime host of the award-winning “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” heard in more than 70 cities nationwide. His television credits include Fox Soul’s “Quarantine Cook-Off,” which featured his signature humor, top-notch cooking skills, and favorite recipes; as well as starring roles on TV One's “The Rickey Smiley Show” and later the reality series “Rickey Smiley For Real,” which aired for five seasons. Smiley has also appeared in several feature films, including “Miracles Across 125th Street,” “All About the Benjamins,” “Friday After Next,” and “Baggage Claim.”
A published author, Smiley released his memoir, "Stand By Your Truth Then Run For Your Life," with Gallery Books in 2018.
