PHILADELPHIA — Dec. 1, 2023 — Forget about five golden rings — Rivers Casino Philadelphia has your holiday season covered with a $48,000 Gold Bar Giveaway in December. Lucky guests can win one troy ounce of gold worth approximately $2,000 on Saturday, Dec. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 31.

Also, ring in the new year with gourmet dining at Martorano’s Prime, followed by live music, dancing and a champagne toast at the casino’s Golden Gala in Fishtown.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations — Sunday, Dec. 31

Golden Gala — 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The Golden Gala ushers in the new year by featuring live music, an all-you-can-eat menu, an open bar and a midnight champagne toast. An Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band, Let’s Groove Tonight, will play solid-gold hits at The Event Center party. Tickets are on sale for $99.

Gourmet Dining at Martorano’s Prime — 6 to 8:30 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m.

This New Year’s Eve dinner special is a three-course prix fixe menu for $165* per person:

• Appetizer: Famous Meatball Salad, stuffed Italian long hot peppers or fried mozzarella
• Entree: Grilled 8-ounce filet mignon Sinatra, linguine scampi, pan-seared herb-crusted Chilean sea bass or chicken cutlet Martorano

Aunt Mary Pat’s Very Intimate Christmas — Wednesday, Dec. 6, and Thursday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.

Get ready to laugh, hun. Everyone’s favorite relative, Aunt Mary Pat, with her recognizable wig, five o’clock shadow and smeared mascara, will perform her engaging stand-up act in The Event Center. Tickets cost $25.

Jim Breuer — Friday, Dec. 22, at 8 p.m. — SOLD OUT

Comedian and “Saturday Night Live” alum Jim Breuer brings his Freedom of Laughter Tour to Fishtown on Friday, Dec. 22, at 8 p.m. Tickets for The Event Center show are sold out. 

The Whispers — Saturday, Dec. 23, at 8 p.m.

R&B fans will be movin’ and groovin’ when The Whispers bring their No. 1 hits to Fishtown. The legendary band, best known for chart-topping singles “And the Beat Goes On” and “Rock Steady,” will perform in The Event Center on Saturday, Dec. 23, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $59.
