Jerry Martini, aka Papa J is the original founder of Sly & the Family Stone. He is a founding member of the first inter-racial, multi-gender major American Band. He has also performed with countless luminaries including Mike Bloomfield, Carlos Santana, Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, Robert Cray, Willie Lomax, Prince, Graham Central Station, and Van Morrison. He is avid at horn arrangements as well as songwriting including "One With the Sun" on Santana's "Barbaletta album among others.

Through the millennial new year, he, along with Cynthia Robinson and Larry Graham, played with Prince on his 1999/2000 New Year's Pay Per View special "Rave Un2 the year 2000".

Raw Syl is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in vocals, keyboard, guitar, and composition who currently resides somewhere in California.

Born mid-December (Sagittarius) into the first family of funk, the origins of Raw Syl is the stuff of legend. Both of her parents are founding members of the revolutionary band, Sly & The Family Stone, whose contributions to modern music and pop culture are undeniable. Her mother, Cynthia Robinson, is the trumpet player and integral part of the Family Stone from its conception to the present day. Her father is the elusive architect of funk, Mr. Sly Stone.

Raw Syl who is known by many names including Phunne (Pronounced: Fun) has cultivated her own unique sound and style. Phunne has been seen performing live with Rufus, Sly Stone, and Tevin Campbell as well as headlining appearances with Daughters of Funk and various solo performances around California.

Raw Syl's music has beautiful melodies with a soulful, sultry voice reminiscent of her funky lineage.

Swang Stewart Lead Vocals

Swang Stewart began studying music at the age of eight, beginning with drums before moving onto the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. His studies eventually led him to receive a degree in Instrumental Performance from the esteemed Hartt School of Music.

In 1998, he moved to New York City to launch his career as a full-time music professional. Today, as a producer, arranger, and musician, Swang finds himself in high demand in the recording studio. Relying on tried-and-true methods of recording (such as the use of tape and analog hardware), acclaimed artists the world over have come to rely on his expertise and imagination in their collaborations with him.

Swang has performed all over the world with artists like Ne-Yo, Shuggie Otis, The Roots and more. In the summer of 2017, he was invited to join The Family Stone whose rich history of classical music influenced Swang profoundly. In between dates with The Family Stone, Swang is currently in the studio producing upcoming releases for Jason Gill, CC Eve, Gene Taylor and more.

Nate Wingfield Lead Guitar

An accomplished guitarist, born in Philadelphia, Nate Wingfield has worked as an artist at B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Willie Nelson, Evelyn Champagne King, Jimmy Castor, Norman Connors, Jean Carne, Phyllis Hyman, and trumpeter Hannibal Marvin Peterson.

While living in New York, he worked with producer Narada Micheal Walden, artists Stacy Lattisaw, Johnny Gill, and Colonel Abrams hit single “Trapped” produced by Richard Burgess. Nate has also produced “Let Me See Your Body Move” for dance artist Shannons album “Do You Wanna Get Away” as well as working with Hip Hop artist Afrika Bambatta and Curtis Blow.

After moving to LA, he toured with and recorded with Brian McKnight, Jackie Jackson, and Irene Cara. He was also the Musical Director for Malaysian superstar Anita Sarawak and Soul Desire. He has also completed his first Solo Album entitled “Rhythm Tree, When love is Pure and Mystery Dance embracing the sound of world music".

Frank Klepacki Drums

Frank Klepacki is a multi-talented musician, recording artist, and composer for video games and television. Performing as a professional drummer since the age of 11, he has always cited Sly & The Family Stone as his favorite band. After befriending Jerry Martini in the 90s, this eventually led to Frank being invited to filling in for The Family Stone on drums intermittently since 2008 and has been part of the family ever since.

Frank is most known for his soundtracks to the video game franchise Command & Conquer, as well as Star Wars: Empire at War. His genre diversity spans Las Vegas-based funk acts Home Cookin’ and Face the Funk, progressive rock act The Bitters, renown cellist Tina Guo, in addition to filling in for Asia featuring John Payne, and The Rock Pack which featured vocalists from Asia, Foreigner, Journey, The Tubes, Blue Oyster Cult, and Night Ranger.
