Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is open!


Open 24 hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Open 9AM-4AM: Tuesday, Wednesday

Following PGCB and CDC guidelines, our casino floor is open with strict procedures in place for the safety of our guests and Team Members including physical distancing and enhanced cleaning. There are over 100 Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectant Wipe stations throughout the Gaming Floor for Guests to sanitize their hands regularly as well as wipe any surfaces. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh features the AtmosAir air handling system, which through bi-polar ionization (BPI), is proven to be over 99.9% effective in neutralizing coronavirus on surfaces. Guests who have COVID-19 symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath or breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat or loss of taste or smell please stay home.

Rivers Poker Room, The Event Center and Valet Parking remain closed.

Dining and Nightlife
Dining options currently include the WheelHouse, Mian, Ciao, Hot Dog Cart and FLIPT. Outdoor seating will remain available in our outside valet area.

Starting September 1, You can now purchase beer and wine with your meal at ALL open dining outlets, then take your drink to your favorite game!

Hot Dog Cart: Now located in the Drum Bar. Monday-Wednesday Noon-8PM | Thursday-Sunday Noon-11PM.

**Drum Bar, Spiral Bar, Grand View Buffet remain closed.

Indoor Air Quality Upgrade
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has recently upgraded its HVAC system to include airPHX®, a patented technology that continuously disinfects indoor air and eliminates coronavirus on surfaces. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh also features AtmosAirTM, an indoor air quality purification system.

No Smoking
There will be temporarily no smoking or use of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, anywhere inside the casino, per the Allegheny County Health Department, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Designated smoking areas will be available outside.

Mask Mandate
Face coverings must be worn at all times while in the casino—no exceptions, no pulling down. The Rivers Clean Team, Surveillance, and Security—along with all Rivers Casino Pittsburgh personnel, will be monitoring continuously and enforcing full compliance.

Yes, masks are required for all guests and must be worn during your entire visit.

Do I have to wear a mask if I have a medical condition?
Yes, masks are required for all guests and must be worn during your entire visit. Guests who are unable to wear a mask are asked to visit to play slots and table games.

Am I able to smoke at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh?
By executive order from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has a temporarily ban on smoking. Smoking areas will be located at the valet and bus lobby entrances.

What dining options are currently open for eat in dining?
The Wheelhouse, Mian, Ciao, FLIPT, Hot Dog Cart are now open for indoor dining. The Wheelhouse will have 25% capacity and guests are recommended to check in for a table using the Yelp No Wait app. An outdoor seating area will be located at our valet entrance.

Can I purchase alcohol at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh?
Alcohol can be purchased while dining at ALL open dining outlets with a meal.

Will my temperature be taken upon entry?
Yes, guests temperature will be taken when entering Rivers Casino Pittsburgh.

How will I enter Rivers Casino Pittsburgh?
Both the elevator and front entrance will be available. Guests are able to pick up and drop off at the Main Entrance and all guests will have to self-park as Valet Parking is closed. To practice social distancing floor graphics are placed at all locations. The casino is large enough to accommodate many guests while still achieving safe social distancing and capacity requirements. 

If I am from out of state am I able to enter Rivers Casino?
Yes, guests from outside the state of PA are welcome.

What should I do with my gaming chips from my previous trips to Rivers Casino Pittsburgh? 
Gaming chips will need to be exchanged at the main cashier cage prior to buying in at a Rivers Casino table game.

Will I be able to play my favorite table games?
Yes, seating has been modified to promote social distancing on all table games. Examples of this include 3 spots at Roulette, 3 spots at Blackjack and 6 spots at Craps. In addition, 12 Blackjack Tables have been added into the Poker Room. Poker is currently not available. Smoking is not permitted while at the Table Game. Masks are mandatory at all Table Games.

Will there be exclusive parking for Black Card holders?
Yes, the exclusive fifth floor parking is still available in the self-parking garage for our Black Card Members.

Will there be handicap parking available? 
Handicap self parking is available on each level of the Rivers Parking Garage. 

Will I be able to rent a wheelchair or scooter?
Yes, please visit our front entrance to rent one of these items or

How do I receive a refund on my postponed ticketed event at Rivers Event Center?
Tickets purchased at the Rivers Casino Players Club:

Guests will receive a full refund in the manner in which they purchased their tickets - if the guest used a credit/debit card, they need only to present the same credit/debit card that was used for their purchase. If the guest purchased with cash, they will need to have a valid photo ID. Please note that this specific refund will not be able to be completed until Rivers Casino Pittsburgh reopens on June 9.
