RIVERS CASINO JOINS SUSAN G. KOMEN PITTSBURGH TO SUPPORT

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

PITTSBURGH Sept. 21, 2017 — Rivers Casino goes pink in October with colorful lights and wall décor in the Pittsburgh Proud area and pink flowers at the entrances to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All month long, Pittsburgh’s casino will provide opportunities for guests to support Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh. In addition to the pink decorations, a donation box will be located in the Pittsburgh Proud charity recognition area so guests can donate their slot vouchers, table chips or cash to Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh.

On Thursday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 7, guests can donate $10 to receive $10 in Free Slot Play or Match Play, and a special gift. Grand View Buffett will donate $2 from every lunch and dinner buffet purchased on Monday, Oct. 9 through Wednesday, Oct. 11 to Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh. Guests are encouraged to wear pink on these days, and throughout the month, to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We’re very proud to support Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh and the essential cancer education and research programs it provides,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. “We encourage our guests to participate in all the activities offered to advocate for breast cancer awareness.”

On Sunday, Nov. 5, Rivers Casino will host the Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh’s Survivors Brunch from 11 a.m.-1p.m. Guests will enjoy savory brunch selections including assorted pastries, scrambled eggs, marinated and grilled chicken breasts, cheese tortellini and more, including chilled juices, freshly brewed coffee and a selection of hot teas.
